Patricia Kombo is a United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification Land Hero, founder of Patree Initiative, Youth of The Year in Top 35Under 35 in Environment category and a SHE CAN AWARD recipient.
For over three years, she has led in restoration activities and establishment of kitchen gardens working with youths and women. Through her initiative, she has led to establishment of 13 environmental clubs and planted over 50,000 trees.
As a land champion and climate activist her goal is to empower and mobilize communities to explore community led initiatives for resilient climate and conscious societies. Patricia believes a community without environmental knowledge is like a bird without feathers, it cannot fly, and thus uses her communication skills to challenge world leaders to value indigenous knowledge.
