Biography

Ochieng Okumu is the Coordinator of Kenyan Climate Change Negotiators, Climate Finance and Resource Mobiliser, he is also an expert in participatory stakeholder engagement for low carbon climate resilient sustainable development.
He has a wide range of experience in climate change, including negotiations, climate diplomacy, climate finance, Climate Change Policy, designing locally led climate actions, participatory community development approaches, climate change adaptation, climate change mitigation, Agricultural Extension, Index Based Weather Insurance, crop production, banana research, soil fertility, plant nutrition, on-farm research trials, farmer participatory research, gender sensitivity in development, and stakeholder engagement in development.
