I initiate a young mothers group in my area under SUPERB CBO. This is a organization located in Kibira Slum. I started it as a piloting project that has potential for growth.
In SUPERB CBO, we have 56 young mothers between the ages of 14 to 22. So far the community has already felt its impact since several girls have been mentored and empowered economically and educationally. Four girls have gone back to school, the regular school seven have joined adult school and around 15 of them were able to successfully go through short term vocational training and they are all running small scale business.
