Biography
Being a community digital story teller through media and film production and working in the media industry, I came with a plan together with my friends in Shiranga community located in Nairobi Kasarani Constituency to stet up a community based organization that with a goal of food security because of climate change and to rewrite everyone’s story in the community.
Since we started Black Pen Community Based organization with my friends/ collogues in 2019 we have implemented various programs in the my community that has been of benefit to over 2000 youths, women, children and people living with disability, additional to that we have a community online radio station that helps the community members in communication and access to information, a community library that all ages come and study while school going teens get study sessions.
I believe all of us can bring changes in our communities it all starts with us, I am determined that in the coming years through Black Pen CBO we will rewrite everyone’s story and put a smile.
