Hermanus-based New Zealand Producer Jasmine Duthie is committed to telling critical stories to foster protection and appreciation of our earth and its precious citizens. Winner of the 2021 Jackson Wild Media Awards Best Educational Film and runner-up to Sir David Attenborough for Best Presenter-Led Film for her roles as Producer, Writer & Editor of the feature documentary LIONS, BONES & BULLETS.
As a Producer, she empowers female and minority filmmakers to develop concepts, secure funding, plan budgets and unite talented teams. With core topics including empowerment, nature & wildlife, sustainability, conservation, travel & adventure and formats ranging from feature films both scripted and documentaries, factual series, short-film to commercials and corporate content. Jasmine is also a company director at Clawed Hat Films in South Africa and Jagged Peak Films in the UK. Their projects have aired in over 130 countries with our original content broadcast by Discovery, Al Jazeera, Animal Planet, National Geographic, BBC, ITV, the WaterBear Network, ABC and ZDF and EarthXTV in the USA.
