Biography

Clara is a conscientious, hands-on and strategic communications and advocacy specialist with a passion, for developing and implementing winning communications and advocacy strategies in the development, humanitarian and Global Public health. Her regional and International experiences have diversified her thinking and expanded her creativity in ensuring communication approaches have been practiced in proper context based of the specific audience.
 
Clara brings outstanding and unique experiences because she has specifically served as a communications and advocacy officer in all her employee and consultancy assignments. A natural at networking, Clara is well spoken, pro-active and a team player who works well under pressure. Clara is part of the seasoned House of Premier trainers and facilitators of communications and advocacy workshops. She is well versed with adult learning methodologies spanning different audiences and platforms. She has led the development of an advocacy curriculum and training of trainers workshops in the State of the African Women Campaign in different countries.
 
She was the Communications Coordinator for the DHIS2 Community of Practice supporting over 67 countries. Further, she has been supporting the Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub in launching the Swahili Hub in Swahili speaking nations.
