Biography

My name is Bilkissu Jalloh, a Sierra Leonean by nationality born in Makeni City, Northern Part of Sierra Leone. Following my educational background, I did my primary and Secondary school in Freetown. Extensively, I am a holder of Higher National Diploma in Accounting and Finance at Milton Margai College of Education and Technology (2017/2018).
 
Currently, I am a final year student pursuing a Bachelor Degree (Hons.) in Entrepreneurship at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology Sierra Leone, certificate holder of Financial Accounting at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign online course 20220, online course on Supply Chain Management an online course at Korea Advance Institute of Science and Technology 2020, certificate on understanding Financial market online course, at the University of Geneva 2020.A certificate from British Council upon completion of Audio Visual Production done by Freetown Film Lab. I served as a Scout and School Prefect in my Junior Secondary School (2007 / 2008). A third year student at Milton Margia TertiaryUniversity (Congo Cross Campus), I am the Minister of Education (Student Union Government). In the honor of my internal and external career, I am an Entrepreneur, consultant, a researcher, a Marketer, Youth, Women and Children’s Advocate. Because of my extreme interest in enhancing empowerment program for the masses, I am the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bilkissu Foundation. Additionally, I am the Deputy Country Director of the Patrick Lumumba Foundation (PLO) Sierra Leone Chapter, the Financial Secretary for the Fullah Tribal Administration Youth wing Sierra Leone.
 
Additionally, I was also a volunteer member (Research Associate) of the Freetown Pitch Night Program that deals with the exposure and supporting young talented entrepreneurs to realize their full potentials. Bilkissu Jalloh has strong background in Entrepreneurship and Managerial skills. I have served as a consultant for many companies at all levels. In the area of my youth activism, I an the Vice Chair Person for the District Youth Council East Zone under the Ministry of Youth Affair.
 
More importantly, I am the Vice President of the United Fullah Sister’s Development Organization (UFSDO) an Executive member of the Humanity Project Africa Sierra Leone. For the past years, I have been working very hard with youth led programs, and other youth organizations to promoting girls education, women and fender and youth empowerment programs., an Ambassador for the agenda of SDGs 2018 on the conference of Initiative for International Model United Nation.
 
I recently served as a National Youth Ambassador Western Area by the Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry Of Youth Affairs and the United National Development Partners and also ECOWAS Focal Person for Anglophone countries on the 4th ECOWAS Forum 2021 in Senegal. Due to the hard work she has being doing in advocacy and humanitarian work, she was given an award in Nigeria Lagos in Recognizing of Inspiring Leadership Qualities Continues contribution to youth Empowerment in Africa by the Africa Youth Leadership and Economic Summit and THE ORATOR 2020 and also awarded as one of the Most 50 Inspiring young Muslim Woman in Sierra Leone.
