Biography
Agnes Leina is from Northern Kenya but living with family and working in Southern Part of Kenya, in Kajiado. A passionate community activist and rural sociologist working to improve the lives of women and girls among pastoralist communities with over 15 years of experience in this field.
The director and Founder of Il’laramatak Community Concerns, an organization working to uphold the dignity of pastoralist women and girls at all levels, and a passionate Community Adaptation practitioner.
She is a holder of a Masters degree in rural sociology and community development and a degree in communications and community development, and a post graduate certificate from university of Birmingham in International Development, among others.
