Emmily Achieng is the team leader of Center for Resilience and Sustainable Africa. A community based on organisation in Mombasa that aims build resilient communities with a sustained livelihood contributing to economic growth and environment conservation.
We have worked with members of Mombasa Climate Action Community of Practice to deliver the climate change policy and its popular version for easy community engagement. We also prioritize climate education through organizing community outreaches, sector based discussions and social/ media engagements.
Emmily is a social justice activist who uses her policy and governance expertise to support different programs for food security, women empowerment and climate resilience. She believes that good governance is the foundational pillar for a sustainable future.
